im glad im able to save the pictures. although not being able to recover them all is already bad enough an impact, being able to save almost all of the picts were good enough. im sure LT agrees with me.
well, if you're clueless to what im talking about, i actually went on a photo shoot with Liting on Labour Day. it was rather anticipate i would say. the both of us were really excited for the photoshoot, especially so when i was able to borrow the DSLR Konica Minolta from Uncle Ken. so yeah. he passed me his entire set. which included his Tokine ultra zoom lenses and integrated AF Flash. which were both supersuper cool. :D
uhh, at least i felt happy for that part.
so the photoshoot started at Raffles Place ---> Boat Quay ---> Clarke Quay which we had Starbucks ---> and then Haji Lane ---> then to Istana for band performance ---> Esplanade and Fullerton.
i'll should talk about Haji Lane and Istana for now, cos i think i seriously dread typing out all of the whole day's events. we bused dwon to Haji Lane from Clarke Quay sweating, and i swear i was drowning in my own sweat when we reached Bugis. we had to like walk there you see. so it was like supersuper H-O-T! i was sure evryone 10m around could feel my heat. im naturally hot u see. -.-'' jk.
right, so yeah, at Haji Lane which i dreaded the most, partly cos of the merciless sun, we shot a great deal of picts. the place was nice. maybe i should do night scenes instead. then LT was like "omgod! i need water!" so we bought Gulp from 711 where i could also take some refuge from the sun since its air-conditioned- thanks god!i was positive, if i hadnt went into 711, i would have melted on the streets. =/
anyways, we cabbed down to Istana hurriedly when i received the call from Samuel. and went through the oh-so-tedious security check where they suspected i was Mas Selamat and insisted i openmy camera bag cos there was metal. i mean, c'mon la! of course right?! its a camera!so i rushed down to the performance area where it was already like half crowded and the Band tic was frantically buzzing me asking me where i was. since i was abit late, i got straight to shooting. which was one TROUBLESOME part, i tell you. all the people were behaving as those they havent seen people performing before. everyone was crowding as close to the band as possible. like flies attracted to food. and when the our very prestigious President arrived, things got worse, all the people started shooting with their handphones and whatnot.i vivdly remember this situation when i was trying to squeeze myself to the front of the crowd when there was this Malay couple just "tsked" me when i brushed them slightly. i was quite positive their daughter/son/ward was performing in the band which explained their annoyance when i tried to "steal their spot" when trying to shoot. at that point, i regretted not wearing some PJ uniform, or shirt which could distinguish myself.
another irritating thing was the Banglas there. i know, i know. the typical words that would come out from a Singaporean teenager. i couldnt think of any link why these people would be there when i was Istana's Open House. just no link right? they were overcrowding the place. talk about land scarcity and overcrowding. why is there an increasing of Banglas over here in Singapore? uhh, racial issues, let's not further argue over this. :P
Part 2 - School
im feeling obligated to update about somethings happening in school. i failed 5tests since the starting of term 2. getting back econs test tommorow, which makes it 6. however, i think i'll do well for the Math test on Binom and Probability. Yayness! :D
it somehow occured to me that sometimes people can become when they do things that make them look so petty and ...whats that word?!.... ... childish? no further elaborations. Ciao!
