TheAmazing race

if you're wondering why im so efficient (sometimes) when it comes to uploading the pictures, i just dont wanna risk losing the pictures when i were to lose my phone (touch wood!) so yeah, let's get back to this :P

since Nobel won, i shall blog with the Nobel Royal blue color from here onwards.
the post will be dedicated to the Amazing Race i had yesterday. we were totally a team of unfit-no stamina-cannot run-flabby group. and i know you totally wont believe this, you WON! from last 4th to 6th and then to first position. this, this is AMAZING. i feel superbly fortunate that i got a team of witty, never say die team mates. Erin, Richard, Gabriel and Samuel. so the race started in school, after the race was declared started, we rushed off to get the first puzzle from someone which wasnt our house captain. so we were kindaf stucked at that point. it was CrossWord puzzle. so the words really hard to find. i guess the organisers really cracked their brains to try to trick us. anyways, at that point, we were already one of the last teams. (which obviously demoralised us -.-'') right next up, with gotta report to the Sanctuary and we had to count the number of tables and benches in the canteen. on our way there, we saw alot of teams rushing up the the Sanctuary like mad-cows. after which was Sudoko, which was a really really great "obstacle" we didnt had math experts in our team. but we managed to complete it nonetheless.

after which, was Chinese Garden. we had to climb the 7storey pagoda which had a strong hint of dried urine. trust me, go smell if you dont believe. the climbing was, at the same time, tiring. and when we reached the peak, it was really annoying when we knew we had to go back down again when we found the next clue. when at the bottom, we had to perform this insanely crazy Tokyo Drift. (i hope people wont see the video) omygoodness! ;O

the next station was Clementi Sports Stadium where we were majorly stucked. there was another Math Crossword puzzle to solve and the frigging station master was all out to create trouble for us. >__> so the next task we had to complete was soccer which proved to be a major inability for us. we had to kicked the soccer ball and topple a water bottle in the middle 3times, consecutively! we couldnt complete it within 45minutes adnd we were penalized. so we had to stop for 15minutes. to make things worse, the rain was on and off, which dampen my mood. at that point, i was quite sure everyone in my team was demoralised. even the teams at our back had already moved on to the next station.

However, we caught up at the Botanic Garden station. thanks to Gabriel. and followed through to some other stations till we reach Vivo City(one of the last station) it was 4plus when we reached Vivo. and the crowd was massive. not suprising, the clue given was, Singapore's largest shopping mall. and some other clues. so our first task at Vivo was to snap photos of 15 shops that was listed. it goes like this:
a king with sweet tooth? guessed it? (its Candy Empire) Tom's friend found a new friend. (Ben's and Jerry's) everywhere under the sun *whistle* (M1) the richest rural settlement (GO India) Discover the kid in you ( Toy's R US) 310 Kelvin ( 37 Degrees) and 9more other clues. we were running around like other teams in the shopping centre and the security guards came stopping us. next task, was also completed relatively quickly thanks to Gabriel's superb acting skills. and Samuel's and Gabriel's esprit de corp. we completed the Charades and moved on the answer the questions about the SkyPark at Vivo. thanks Suwei for the help.

the main challenge arisen, we were now the second team already after POLO. cus a few teams including the Nobel team was penalized not knowing why. so the last station was the Mac Donalds at West Coast Park. we boarded the same 143 as the Polo team and obviously it showed us what some of them really were. gentlemen and sportsmanship. yeah, talk about it! <__< so after the tasks at WCP, we were reaching the finish line. the FINISH banner was held right about 100 metres in front of us. and omygoodness! it was like one of the best experiences. the whole day's work is coming to an end.

and we run right through, together, as a team.

before the race. (Nobel Team 1 and Nobel 2)

Take 1: FAILED!

Take 2: STILL FAIL! :P

i knew you won't believe this, but we were quarelling over whose fault it was just 1 minute before we took this picture. Honestly speaking.

Ong Erin: our crazy eccentric but veryvery good teamleader.

my lovely teamates! :D

the magnificent dunno what in the URA Building.

the clue was 310 Kelvin
