Mrt and Stupid Peoplehello, yes as the title imply. its nothing far from the the irritants on the Mass Rapid Transit. One of Singapore's major development in the public transport systems.
back to the story, i now have to travel on the MRT to school like everyday. although yea, there is this bus which i can take at JP interchange. its hella long! *___*
so sometimes when im getting late, i'll just take the MRT to school. and on this very occasion, i met with the most incorrigible aunty whom snatch my seat. she wasnt the old type. U know, those signboards which they put up in the cabins saying:
Please give up your seat for those in NEED.
its either for old people like reallly old, till their bones will crack when they stand up for 2minutes or pregnant mothers. these people i can understand. but this silly aunty in her late 40's decided to snatch my seat when i was about to remove my sling from my shoulders and nearly sat down, she slid
past below me and sat there like nobody's business.
what's more infuriating is that she acted like nothing happened and shut her eyes and "sleep". then you might be thinking,
eh Clifford, stand awhile also cannot meh?! my point is, im not concerned with "not being able to seat" issue. its the
"seat kena snatched part" &
"act as if nothing happened" part. sorry, i just find it highly ridiculous that i got angry over some stranger. :P
another thing is the Singapore "KIASU" trait. one thing i must declare is that Singaporeans are so overwhelmed with kiasuism k! do you get situations when you're stucked in the trains and CANNOT even move out of the exit?! maybe its just me, but i realised that when nobody comes out, there wont be space for people to move in. the passengers are so afraid that they would not get their seats in the MRT and crowd on both sides of the cabin door. stupid isnt it?! i wonder why such people exists in Singapore. and i thought that we'd only have clever people in the country.
ok, that's that! Ciao!
