THANKS FOR HELPING ME GAIN SOME EXTRA MOOLAH!
Monday, March 10, 2008, 9:45:00 AM
i went to the
IT Fair with Dad yesterday. the main reason was to check out the Fujistsu LifeBook T4420. ok, one word. Crowded. and the truth was, it wasnt a really good deal. although like ya, i think those people were only there for the freebies.
as soon as we entered the exhibition hall, i spotted Fujistsu display stand, and headed there almost immediately, although along the way we had alot of difficulty walking thru. but we reached nonetheless! like DUH!. lol
anw, Fujistsu was known for its quality. so im not surprised that the prices were abit more ex den the rest. but the specs for their "latest" model is like that of my desktop, 1.5 years ago. so we decided not to buy this one. although i think it looks super nice. its a Table Convertible PC.
anw, i think the buyers of this were so super stupid. Sorry, if you're one
brainless consumer of this product la. the promoters were there displaying the unique functions of the tablet. and those clueless Ah peks, and Ah Ma. thought it was super cool and bought it so willingly. -____- they never look at the specs ok! i dont mean to be really tech-savvy here. but it runs on the earlier version of processor. many exhibitors are already selling the latest processors in the market 2years ago.

so i went and looked around, there wasn't good tablet pcs with good specs. so i decided to buy a seperate table instead. (for art) we then escalated one level up to the 5th Floor. where i bought this:
WACOM's Bamboo Fun. which cost a f-ing $289 bks.

this is Toshiba E434. the specs are super good. even for the graphic card, Harvey Norman, one of the exhibitors offered to upgrade it to 3Gb ram for me, accompanied with lots of freebies, like the ultra cool Garskin, 160gb hardisk, 2gb thumbdrive, optical mouse, laptop case, and Windows Vista Office Business. super good right? :D
but alas, when we went back to the stand, it was
OUT OF STOCK! No more! its considered one of the better sellers in the exhibition. T___T

Den i asked Dad why not buy a Macintosh. he asked me to go online to check cus you know, there's always an education package. but the specs weren't impressive. maybe i should wait for the Toshiba one. its Japanese brand one. sure abit better.
but then again, Apple's well known for its design applications. arrgghh! suggestions anyone. but me constructive ok.

so anw, we went to my couz's house later in the evening.
SMILLEEEESS! :DD

Ahahahah!
