JJC in the News!
ive been keeping up with current affairs these few weeks. and one of the main things i would do would be to read up the Straits Times, also STOMP.SG online. also known as Straits Times Online Mobile Print. ok elaborations aside, i chance upon this article today.

the topic was: JC students wasting water.
ok, the article describes a reader being concerned about JC students wasting water, and mostly on activities and special occasion (like JJ's orientation on Wed, to today-Firday). im not being a sour grape here. let's keep things mature and comprehension-able.

my stand is, its not just JJ's that's doing this. most institutions engaged in such activities to create a bond amongst their students. but of course, maybe at the expense of utilising precious resources. but the main point behind it was to get students bonded and what more, on a hot sunny day so thats quite understandable! its like moral relativism? (new term a learnt during GP today)
my point is, there's no need to keep up a fuss about it, but rather, to give constructive criticisms on how they could improve.
Luckily, Pj wasnt reported for WASTING water. =/ haha. anw, Friendster keeps spamming me with messages and mails. i think i'll should turn of the message alerts!
